1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Groov ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2 License to Use

Isaac East grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Groov for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. This license does not allow you to:

• Copy, modify, sell or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code, except where the law expressly allows it
• Use the App for a commercial purpose without written permission
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices

3 Your Account

You can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your sign-in details private
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Telling us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission

You can reset your password from the Settings screen or the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services in your country, to create an account.

4 Acceptable Use

Use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Break the law or encourage others to
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers or other people's accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Store unlawful content in the App
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or overload the service

5 AI Coaching

Groov's nudges and reflections are generated automatically from your own habit statistics. They are general encouragement and suggestions, not medical, psychological, financial or other professional advice, and they can be wrong. Do not rely on them for decisions about your health. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.

6 Your Content & Our Property

The App's design, branding and functionality remain the property of Isaac East. The habit names, challenge names and other content you create remain yours; you grant us a limited license to store, sync and process that content solely to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be removed over time.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Isaac East is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is zero. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may end your account at any time with Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us as described in the Privacy Policy. On termination your right to use the App ends.

10 Changes to Terms

If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and mention it in the App's release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
